  • The city will pay the motorcyclists bills, just like they have to pay for any collateral damage on a police chase. Guaranteed. The cop will probably take the biker to civil court, but I would hope the biker counter-sues and wins.

  • Yeah, and you can't spell. The street is for vehicles. If the motorcycle did nothing wrong, then he should counter-sue. If a jackass jaywalking pedestrian OR a cop in dark clothes at night wipes me out by walking or running directly in front of me, I'm gonna sue the hell out of them.

  • ok on further reading, maybe everyone was on foot, and the motorcycle plowed into a cop. ok- makes more sense. A bike's gotta be flying to almost kill a cop in a cop car. Either way, the city had better be paying the motorcyclist's bills.
